special events that we have engaged in. Below, you will also find links to our

GHRA'S TASTE GUAM! EVENT
August 2, 2008 - The Rotaract Club of Marianas volunteered for the Guam Hotel
and Restaurant Association's Taste Guam! event held at the Micronesian Mall
Expo Hall.
ROTARACT FUNDRAISER
August 1, 2008 - Fund-raiser held at Hunter's Inn Karaoke Lounge.
DISTRICT 2750 ANNUAL DISTRICT MEETING - TOKYO, JAPAN
March 14-18, 2008 - The Rotaract Club of Marianas attended the District
Meeting in Tokyo, Japan. The meeting allowed our Rotaractors to meet fellow
District Rotaractors and engage in cultural exchange and idea sharing for
future projects. Four Rotaractors attended the meeting and toured the
surrounding areas of Tokyo.
GUAM MUSEUM TELETHON FUND-RAISER
February 5, 2008 - The Guam Museum Foundation held a telethon at KUAM
studios in Harmon. Rotaract Members volunteered their time lending their
hand to tabulate the pledges.
WATER PROJECT
January 19, 2008 - Participating in the clean water project with the our
sponsoring Rotary Clubs, Rotaract members learned and fostered their skills
with the hammer at the water stills assembly line.
YPAO BEACH CLEAN UP
January 13, 2008 - Along with middle and high school students, the Rotaract
Club of Marianas engaged in a community service activity promoting the idea
to "Keep Guam Clean." A clean-up of the Ypao Beach/Hilton area resulted in
cleaner beaches for our locals and tourist to enjoy. We would like to thank Mr.
Manfred Pieper and the wonderful staff of the Hilton Resort Guam for the
generosity and support with our activity.
VISIT FROM ROTARACT OF DISTRICT 2840
January 12, 2008 - The Rotaract Club of Marianas hosted the Rotaractors from
District 2840 to a reception at the Yuan San restaurant at the Grand Plaza
Hotel. Rotaractors engaged in conversation regarding culture, professional
experiences, and personal life.
VISIT FROM ROTARACT OF DISTRICT 2640
September 2007 - The Rotaract Club of Marianas hosted several of our fellow
Rotaractors from District 2840. A reception dinner and mixer was held at the
Alize restaurant at the Reef Hotel hosted by Rotarian Lukie Sakamoto. The
following day involved community service activities held that the School of
Business and Public Administration at the University of Guam. Activities
included, bus stop painting, group activities that involved elementary school
children, and a cultural exchange as well as a softball game.
